Which is good. Not easy.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: verdana;"&gt;First impressions:&lt;br /&gt;Throttle response improved quite a bit. The car feels more eager and changes speed to the slightest touch of the pedal. Engine feels smooth. Can't really tell for sure now since I'm limiting it to 3000 rpm for the first 1000km. Gearshifts are also very smooth now - a bit too smooth for my liking though. A short-shifter could rectify this, perhaps? (Weber carburetors or BOT kits etc)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, engine transplant it is.&lt;br /&gt;(i) 4G92-MIVEC&lt;br /&gt;(ii) 4G93P-DOHC&lt;br /&gt;(iii) 4G93T&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm an NA fan, so the 4G93T was out. After testing a MIVEC satria, I realised that I prefered more torque on the lower end for daily driving. Unfortunately, JPJ had to go outlaw 2000cc conversions. That made the 93P prices shoot up like crazy. Bah.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;God: Haha.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"  &gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;----&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;The Other Great Plan&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Engine conversion plans were put aside since I had no cash to do it. So I thought, ok, lets stick with this car for another 2-3 years, then I'll sell it off and get one of my dream cars.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-size:85%;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;img style="font-family: verdana;" src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/eraserwke/SIdHv92vXqI/AAAAAAAAADY/vDC2khCd8Gg/s400/bmw_e30.jpg" alt="BMW E30" title="BMW E30" /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style=";font-family:verdana;font-size:85%;"  &gt;Like this one.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Then one fine day, the 4G15 started sputtering and choking. Replacing the spark plugs solved the problem temporarily. It was a matter of time. My driveshaft and bottom end were starting to go. Engine was leaking oil as well. Bah #2.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;God: LOL.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;----&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;The Other other Great Plan&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(i) Transplant a 4G93P-DOHC from a Satria GTi or a Putra to give the car new life&lt;br /&gt;(ii) Overhaul 4G15 and use it a few more years&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;s&gt;A thinner&lt;/s&gt; An empty wallet and 2 months later, the new engine was in my car and I was grinning face to face.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Me: =D&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3 months later, I had a faulty fuel pump, and damaged conrod bearings. Bah #3.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-style: italic;"&gt;Me: =(&lt;br /&gt;God: ROFL.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;----&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-weight: bold;"&gt;&lt;s&gt;The Another Other other Great Plan&lt;/s&gt; Plan #463&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;(i) Rebuild my engine&lt;br /&gt;(ii) Sell car&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I'm going with (i). Car being fully paid for and all.
